1. Does everyone make a team at Airborne?

Yes, we do not have a ‘tryout’ we have a placement. Our athletes will be evaluated by their age and skill level and will be placed on the appropriate team.

2. I hear that you travel really far to each competition, is this true?

It depends on the level and age of team that you are placed on. We normally compete in local cities like, Sacramento, San Jose and Stockton. Our Youth/Junior (14 & Under) and Senior ( 12 - 19) do travel to away competitions out of state. These competitions normally occur in Las Vegas or Dallas, Texas. We have also competed in Anaheim and Palm Springs in the past.

3. When does your season start?

We have a full year program that begins in May and ends in April. We take a two breaks during the summer and over the Holiday Season. All athletes are required to attend summer practices. We ask that you make your summer plans with our break in mind.

4. How often do you compete?

Normally about once a month beginning in November and ending in either March or April.

5. What does my monthly fee include?

Your monthly fee includes your monthly tuition for your practices.  Competition fees, choreography and music fees are paid in two installments that are separate from the monthly fee.

6. What do you wear to practice?

We require you to wear Airborne practice clothes to practice that you purchase in the beginning of the season. Your hair must also be pulled up and you must wear athletic shoes.  Athletes are not allowed to practice if they do not have shoes on.

7. How often do you practice?

You will practice 2 days a week for a 2 hour team practice and attend an hour tumbling class that is included with tuition.
